Celebrating Classic Musicals of the Broadway Golden Age – Open Mic jan 4th 2014

It’s Throwback Monday (is it a thing?) at AMT Live’s upcoming Open Mic at the Péniche Le Marcounet! On January 4th, 2016, we’ll be celebrating classic musicals and musical films from the Golden age of Broadway. Come listen to and/or sing classic and lesser-known tunes from the 1940s, 50s and 60s! And leave those disco platform shoes at home 🙂

Here are a few suggestions of songs from Broadway’s most prolific era. Remember to bring something we haven’t heard yet! Check out or list of songs from previous open mics, and keep those overheard tunes for the shower

Guys and Dolls “If I Were a Bell”

The King and I “Getting to Know You”

The Pajama Game “I’m Not at All In Love”

South Pacific “I’m Gonna Wash that Man Right Outta my Hair”

Call Me Madam “It’s a Lovely Day Today”

Wonderful Town “Ohio”

Pal Joey “Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered”

St Louis Woman “Come Rain of Come Shine”
